User training provided during migration to StarOffice

During 2005/06 Bristol City Council carried out a project to migrate more than 5,000 users from a mixture of office software products to StarOffice 7. Staff within the Council needed to use the new software at a variety of skill levels and suitable training had to be delivered as part of the project.

This report identifies the training requirements for the migration and describes the resulting approach to training and the mixture of training methods used in Bristol. The associated training packs contain examples of the materials used and further information on each pack is provided by the "readme" file inside the pack.
